Day 1

Bekdash/Garabogaz border — Turkmenbashi

• Meeting at the Bekdash/Garabogaz border. The guide brings all the documents needed for the crossing. Entry visa issued.
• The guide helps with the paperwork for your car or motorcycle at the border.
• Once the formalities are complete, departure for Turkmenbashi. Accommodation at the hotel.

Overnight: Hotel in Turkmenbashi

Day 2

Yangykala — Gozli-Ata

• Breakfast at the hotel. If you wish, a visit to the bazaar in Turkmenbashi.
• Departure for Yangykala: the famous canyons, including the Kemal-Ata canyon.
• Continue to Gozli-Ata. There are guest rooms for pilgrims where our travellers often stay, with a kitchen where you can cook for yourself.

Overnight: Guest rooms at Gozli-Ata

Day 3

Kara-Kala — Nokhur

• Departure for Kara-Kala. You will see the Moon Valley.
• Transfer to Nokhur.

Overnight: Private house in Nokhur

Day 4

Nokhur — Kov-Ata — Ashgabat

• A tour of Nokhur, the village locals call a corner of paradise. You will see the Chinar tree, more than 2,000 years old, and the sacred site of Gyz-Bibi.
• Transfer to the Kov-Ata underground lake, with a chance to swim. There are plenty of cafés nearby serving excellent shashlik.
• Departure for Ashgabat. Accommodation at the hotel.

Overnight: Hotel in Ashgabat

Day 5

Ashgabat

• Breakfast. Transport and a guide are provided for your day in the capital.
• Your choice of: Ancient Nisa, the History Museum or the Carpet Museum, or simply a city sightseeing tour.
• Visit to the Russian Bazaar.
• IMPORTANT: driving your own car or motorcycle inside the capital is prohibited.

Overnight: Hotel in Ashgabat

Day 6

Darvaza

• Departure for the Darvaza gas crater. Arrival in Darvaza.

Overnight: Yurts or tents

Day 7

Dashoguz — border

• Departure for Dashoguz. Border crossing at Dashoguz. End of the programme.
